How much are Prince William County Fair tickets?

The fair’s current presale announcement lists adult admission at $25 and admission for children ages 5–12 at $15. Children age 4 and younger enter free every day. Midway rides, games, camel rides, pony rides and fair food cost extra.

    Advance ticket packages

Two bundles are listed for the 2026 fair

Family 9 Pass Pack — $162: nine general-admission tickets valid any fair day, with grandstand events and shows included. Rides are not included.

Family 5 Pass Pack — $170: five weekday admissions with unlimited ride wristbands, parking, shows and grandstand access. The package is valid on weekdays only and is offered while supplies last.

    Check current tickets and availability

Monday, August 3, is a free-admission day for visitors age 55 and older who show a valid ID. Other discount days or gate prices were not clearly published in the sources available when this guide was updated, so verify the checkout total before buying.

Rides, animals and other fair attractions

Carnival rides operate all nine days. The fair also lists a petting zoo, farm-animal exhibits, pig races, dog shows, games, vendors and carnival food. Camel and pony rides are available for an additional charge.

The midway rides are operated separately from gate admission. If rides are the main reason you are going, compare the current wristband or credit price with the Family 5 Pass Pack before choosing tickets. The weekday bundle may make more sense for a group that plans to ride repeatedly.

What makes this different from a pop-up carnival?

The livestock, home-arts and 4-H side matters here. Prince William County’s 4-H program has current fair competitions and a weeklong Fair Camp at the grounds, adding exhibits and youth agriculture programming beyond the midway.

    Gate hours

Opening times change during the nine-day run

    Friday, July 31: 5–10 p.m.
    Saturday, August 1: 2–10 p.m.
    Sunday, August 2: 2–10 p.m.
    Monday, August 3: 5–10 p.m.
    Tuesday, August 4: 2–10 p.m.
    Wednesday, August 5: 5–10 p.m.
    Thursday, August 6: 5–10 p.m.
    Friday, August 7: 5–10 p.m.
    Saturday, August 8: 2–10 p.m.

Families with younger children may prefer a 2 p.m. opening on the weekend or Tuesday. The midway looks better after dark, but arriving earlier gives you more time before the 7 p.m. grandstand show and the largest evening crowds.

Parking and getting to the Manassas fairgrounds

The fairgrounds are at 10624 Dumfries Road, Manassas, VA 20112, along Route 234 south of the City of Manassas. This is primarily a driving destination. On-site parking is available, but a stand-alone 2026 parking rate was not clearly posted in the material we could verify.

The Manassas VRE station is not next to the fairgrounds. Anyone using rail would still need a rideshare or other connection for the remaining trip, and evening return service can be limited. If you are going for a derby, fireworks or monster trucks, build extra time for the arrival line on Dumfries Road.

Visitors who need mobility or other accommodations should contact the fairgrounds at 703-368-0173 before attending. The venue has not published enough current detail for us to describe specific paths, seating areas or rental equipment accurately.

DC Spot tips before you go

Choose the night by the grandstand event. The derby, fireworks, rodeo, monster trucks and tractor pull each run on specific dates.
Do not assume rides are included. Standard admission covers entry and advertised shows, while midway credits or wristbands cost extra.
Arrive before 7 p.m. That leaves time for parking, the gate and food before most headline events begin.
Check the weather and fair page the same day. Fireworks, motorsports and outdoor attractions can change when conditions are unsafe.
Wear shoes for grass, dirt and distance. The fairgrounds cover a large outdoor site, and the route between barns, rides and the grandstand adds up.
Save the ticket confirmation on your phone. Cell service can slow down when the fairgrounds are busy.
