Asia in a Bite is giving the DMV two weekends to plan around food: October 24–25, 2026, at Tingey Plaza in Washington DC, followed by October 31–November 1 at One Loudoun in Ashburn. Both stops have free admission, with food, drinks and merchandise sold separately.

The outdoor festival brings together food stalls, sweets, merchandise and DJ music. You can make a meal out of a few different vendors, browse between bites and stay for the entertainment. Reserve a free arrival window before heading out; each location has its own booking page.

Asia in a Bite 2026 dates, locations and hours

    • Washington DC: Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, at Tingey Plaza, 101 Tingey St. SE, Washington, DC 20003. Current Tixr reservations run 11 a.m.–7 p.m. each day.
    • Northern Virginia: Saturday and Sunday, October 31–November 1, at One Loudoun, 44578 Atwater Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147. Current Tixr reservations run noon–8 p.m. each day.

The DC stop brings food stalls and K-pop to Navy Yard

For the Tingey Plaza weekend, the organizer’s October brief calls for 20–30 Asian food vendors and about 10 merchandise vendors, along with Bar Movement, a K-pop dance party, karaoke and a live DJ. The Navy Yard event calendar also lists the October 24 and 25 dates.

This is a daytime market with a night-market theme, so you do not need to wait until evening. Pick a lunch or early-dinner window, then give yourself time to walk the stalls before deciding what to order.

The DC reservation page currently features names including Mao’s Bao, Kin Thai, Lechon Bae, JOJOTAKOYAKI, Tang Hu Lulu and 1 Meter Yakitori. Treat that as the organizer’s current featured list, rather than a guarantee of every stall or dish on both days; the festival uses rotating lineups.

One Loudoun gets the following weekend

The Ashburn stop lands on Halloween weekend, October 31–November 1. The One Loudoun listing advertises food and merchandise vendors plus live DJ music at the Atwater Drive event site.

Its advertised vendor total differs from the organizer’s general listings, so a fixed count is less useful than checking the current lineup. The Virginia ticket page features Mao’s Bao, TZoneDessert, Kin Thai, Lechon Bae and Yume Asian Fusion, among other names.

Use 44578 Atwater Drive when planning your arrival. One Loudoun’s general town-center address appears in some listings, but the festival’s schedule identifies the Atwater Drive site. Follow event signs and posted parking rules once you arrive.

What to eat—and what “free entry” covers

The appeal is being able to try a few things without committing to one restaurant. The festival’s food highlights include dumplings, yakitori, tanghulu, grilled squid, noodles and desserts. Those are examples from the series; an event-specific menu can change.

Going with a friend makes it easier to split a savory dish and leave room for something sweet. Browse the menus first, check the posted prices and ask individual vendors about ingredients or allergies. There is no reason to assume every stall takes the same payment method or has the same dietary options.

Free admission gets you into the market. It does not include a tasting package, meals or drinks. Choose your location, day and arrival window on the corresponding reservation page so you do not accidentally book the other weekend.

    Plan your visit

For Tingey Plaza, consider Metro to Navy Yard–Ballpark and check your walking route to 101 Tingey St. SE. For One Loudoun, plan around the Atwater Drive location and leave time to find parking and walk to the stalls.

Both events are outdoors. Wear shoes you can comfortably stand in, check the forecast and the organizer’s latest updates, and allow time for food lines. A reserved arrival window does not promise a particular wait at an individual vendor.
