18th Annual DC Tap Fest

September 8 to 13: art after dark and a car-free ride through the city

September 19 puts two large free festivals on the calendar at once. H Street NE closes for eleven blocks, and Pennsylvania Avenue turns into a Thai street food market. They are a Metro ride apart, so doing both in one day is realistic if you start early.
